“Leaving Home”. Thousands of ethnic people have had to flee the Burmese military regime since as early as the ‘60’s to this day, because of civil war and numerous human rights crimes, such as persecution, genocide, rape, unlawful imprisonment, torture, etc. Many are still fleeing their homeland.
